Students research a topic of interest and then put together a creative, informative speech. The speech is then presented to a panel of judges, who score the student based on the speech’s content, composition and delivery.
In helping prepare young people for the agriculture industry, CYAE will offer two speaking events for FFA, 4-H, Grange, and Independent members. Students will be competing not only for top honors but for a scholarship as well. The competition will be held in Extemporaneous Public Speaking and Prepared Public Speaking.
*Once entries close, if we need to expand the contest over Wednesday, July 31st, and Thursday, August 1st, we will.
Overall Awards: Friday, August 2nd
CYAE Speech Contest entries will be done through Showorks with the livestock entries. The entries are due July 14, 2023.
