The California Youth Ag Expo is pleased to announce a new event for 2022. In helping prepare young people for the industry of agriculture, CYAE will be offering two speaking events for FFA, 4-H, Grange and Independent members. Students will be competing for not only top honors, but for a scholarship as well. Competition will be held in Extemporaneous Public Speaking and Prepared Public Speaking.

Age as of January 1, 2023. 

Senior Division: Age 16-19

Intermediate Division: Age 13-15

Junior Division: Age 9-12, prepared only

Speech Contest Date: Thursday, August 3rd

*Once entries close, if we need to expand the contest over Wednesday, August 2nd and Thursday, August 3rd we will. 

Overall Awards: Friday, August 4th
